Among a number of predictions for 2013 posted to its website, president David Marcus suggested that mobile technology will continue to be an increasingly dominant force in commerce in 2014 and beyond.
“Many consumers are just beginning to experience the freedom, flexibility and fun of mobile payments and shopping, and they’re going to want more,” Marcus wrote.
Marcus went on to say that, thanks to the cloud, waiting in a checkout line will one day “seem like something out of the Stone Age.”
