PayPal Testing Mobile Application in Singaporean Metros

PayPal is now testing a mobile application at metro stations across Singapore, according to a report by Finextra.

PayPal is initiating this new pilot program fresh off of the recent abandonment of its NFC initiative. The trial enables commuters to scan QR codes on posters and billboards to access deals and make purchases.

Initially, the company is piloting the project at a total of 15 subway stations across the country.
