Staples has announced a revamp to its mobile shopping strategy, including a new mobile-optimized site and a downloadable app, according to Mobile Commerce Daily.
The company hopes to capitalize on the fact that more than 25 percent of its site traffic originates from mobile devices. Faisal Masud, Staples’ executive vice president of global eCommerce, said that mobile is “central to our strategy.”
“With the new Staples online storefront we wanted to make it easier for customers to find the products that are right for their business, by serving up relevant, personalized content and pricing,” Masud remarked.
