Last year, we featured the slideshow "15 Unusual (and Unbelievably Awesome!) QR Codes" from Mashable, with creative designs by Disney, TIME and Louis Vuitton. After showcasing the best of the best, Mashable has followed up with their worst of the worst photo gallery: "The Top QR Code Fails of 2011."

These are not payments but mainly related to the marketing possibilities of QR codes. These do not reflect a failure in QR codes but rather a lack of attention by the people behind the marketing campaigns.
I am confused about the purpose of this article on the pymnts web site. Is Pymnts biased towards NFC perhaps?
