Executive Bio: Jason Diaz, Founder and Chief Executive Office of TaxiPass, has positioned himself as a leader in the largest all cash industry left in the United States: the taxi industry. With operations throughout the United States, TaxiPass provides taxi and livery service drivers and their customers the convenience of a cashless payment solution.
Jason is no stranger to the taxi and livery service industry. As an experienced licensed New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (“TLC”) driver, Diaz has been actively involved with improving the safety and quality of life of taxi, livery and limousine drivers and their passengers. Jason is also the founder of Cab Watch, a nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the safety of cab drivers in the United States.
Through Cab Watch, Jason mobilized thousands of drivers. He secured partnerships with the New York City Mayor’s Office and the New York City TLC, and financial support from Sprint PCS, Ford Motors, and Clear Channel Media. Jason’s efforts has awarded him local and nation recognition from New York City Mayor Michal R. Bloomberg, former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, former U.S. President Bill Clinton, former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, and the New York City TLC.
Jason graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School of Business with an economics degree.
