Software as a Service (SaaS) enterprise content management (ECM) company DataServ announced last week (Aug. 12) that it was selected by a material handling equipment company to assist the firm in upgrading its accounts payable (AP) system.
According to a DataServ statement, its document and process automation tools will help the material handling equipment company automate and streamline its AP process.
“We are pleased to initialize our AP automation solution with AutoVouch™ for a company that has been a leader in the handling equipment industry for many years,” DataServ Founder and CEO Jeff Haller said. “At DataServ we try to align ourselves with companies that have an extensive history of excellence, and our newest client certainly fits that description. We are happy to provide our expertise and solutions to such a highly regarded organization.”
DataServ’s SaaS AP tools offer digital mailroom services, according to the statement. Additionally, it has optical character recognition and automated workflow for non-purchase order (PO) invoices, along with AutoVouch, which assists in touchless invoice processing for invoices generated through a PO.
More companies are looking into automated options in terms of steamlining everything from AP processes to monitoring their expenses. Last week, PYMNTS.com reported on Lombard Odier Funds (Europe) S.A. selecting Confluence for its automated budgeting application for asset managers.
