Expense reporting and management service provider Chrome River has secured its newest client. In a report published Wednesday (Sept. 9), the software company revealed it has been chosen by IT service firm Amadeus North America to manage expense reporting for its staff.
According to the companies, Amadeus operates with about 1,000 employees in North America. The firm, which focuses its solutions in the travel and tourism sector, said it took months to choose the right expense management software solutions providers as it looked to leave its manual processes behind.
The firm said that among its top priorities in choosing an expense management SaaS firm was finding a partner that could be flexible enough for Amadeus’ international needs.
Chrome River will link its EXPENSE reporting system into Amadeus’ business operations, providing an array of features, including mobile compatibility and multi-language and multi-currency support.

The solution also offers on-demand financial reporting and data analytics tools for travel managers, as well as integration into its online booking platform.
In a statement, Chrome River CEO Alan Rich said the company is “excited” to work with Amadeus. “We pride ourselves in being flexible and responsive to the changing needs of organizations and look forward to providing the solution and partnership that Amadeus needs as it continues its fast-paced growth,” he added.
Chrome River’s new client follows its $100 million Series D fundraising round, completed in July. At the time, Rich told reporters that the majority of the money would be used to fuel business growth and innovation of its travel and expense management tools.
