For our Briefing Room on Small Business, we spoke with Chris Hylen to discuss "what's next" for Intuit and to take a look at the state of small businesses and the payments industry.
Chris Hylen has nearly 20 years of small business payments experience. Over the last four years, he has served as vice president of growth for Intuit’s Payment Division overseeing the division’s sales, marketing and product development. In this role, he has tripled the size of the business and grown customer acquisition by ten percent year over year. Hylen has successfully led the division by driving the development of innovative payment products and services including the launch of Intuit’s first mobile credit card processing solution.
Hylen's experience and passion lie in growing emerging payments businesses, helping him adeptly navigate Intuit's entry into mobile payments. Prior to Intuit, he held executive roles at Automated Data Processing, ComData and American Express, among others. Within these companies, he primarily drove revenue growth through the introduction of new and innovative products including the creation of American Express’s first Internet group and online products.
