Wincor Nixdorf Inc., the premier global provider of advanced retail banking cash-handling solutions, today announced that it will be hosting “Retail Banking Reinvented,” a one-day executive forum event on March 25, 2010 at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. The forum is open and free to mid and senior-level banking executives.

The event will feature presentations by global industry experts on the most up to date banking trends and “hot button” topics affecting the retail banking industry, including changing consumer behaviors, emerging security threats and new profit strategies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about current advancements in self-service and branch technologies that promise to considerably lower costs while increasing cash security and enhancing customer brand loyalty.

“The retail banking industry landscape is changing dramatically, and banks must find strategies to retain consumers, drive revenue and cut costs,” said Patrick Wright, President and CEO of U.S. Operations, Wincor Nixdorf, Inc. “We are thrilled to bring together key industry leaders to discuss some of the most critical issues impacting retail banking today, and are confident that attendees will find the day extremely valuable.”

  • Robert Siciliano, CEO of IDTheftSecurity.com, will present an engaging seminar on emerging banking security threats and strategies to mitigate or avoid them altogether.
  • Alan Walsh, EVP of Banking at Wincor Nixdorf USA, will provide an overview of the current state of the retail banking market, business opportunities and threats, and how Wincor solutions can generate superior bottom-line results.

The event will include a question and answer session, and will also provide attendees the opportunity to view demonstrations of the latest ATM, mobile, security and multi-vendor software solutions from Wincor Nixdorf.
