Rahul Kapur

Biography

Rahul Kapur is a Principal leading Capgemini’s North American Payments consulting solutions. Rahul has over 20-plus years of consulting experience, with a deep focus in the retail banking, payments, and customer strategy in the financial services sector. His experience includes helping many US, Canadian, Latin American, and European financial institutions with product and channel strategy and innovation. Rahul has authored several articles on mobile payments and channel strategy, and has presented at several industry conferences on payments transformation, including SIBOS and TAWPI. Prior to joining Capgemini, Rahul was a Managing Principal at Capco, having led the payments and retail banking channels solutions. In that role, Rahul led advisory services in payments and banking transformation to a client base that included American Express, TD Canada Trust, JP Morgan Chase, and Citi, among others.

Before joining Capco, Rahul held senior roles in the consulting practices at both MasterCard Advisors and Infosys, where his major clients included Capital One, RBS, Raifaissen, and Ameriprise. Rahul also served as the Director of Strategy Consulting at Bowne Global Solutions, focusing on channel strategy for retail financial services providers including T. Rowe Price, Equiserve, and PaineWebber. Rahul began his career at Price Waterhouse, and later moved to Deloitte Consulting, where his financial services clients included American Express, Visa, Cendant, Reliant Insurance, Sun Life of Canada, and Advanta.

Rahul received his B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University, and M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.
