Best. Window. Ever.
That award goes to Grow Financial, a Tampa, Florida-based credit union that’s taken an innovative approach to attract customers into its newest branch.
The Grow branch features a giant augmented reality video wall with which users can interact directly and play a game handing out “virtual money.” Any passer-bye can play the game, which offers the chance to win $25 toward an account, $100 toward an auto loan or $300 toward a mortgage.
As more and more people turn online to do their banking, it’s an innovative way to increase in-branch traffic.
“The virtual money machine is a terrific example of a company reaching its audience in an entertaining way that can result in new customers before they walk in the door,” Steven Birnhak, CEO of Inwindow Outdoor, told Finextra.
The video mirror uses six HD video screens and feature motion-reactive technology.
According to Thomas Feindt, executive vice president of Grow Financial, the credit union plans to open two more Florida branches within the next six months, as well as three in South Carolina before year’s end.
