CRA announced that Principal, Joshua Sherman, has been appointed new Chief Economist of the Israel Competition Authority. He will begin his appointment March 2023.
Dr. Sherman has worked on a variety of antitrust-related matters, including monopolization, collusion, and mergers. During his appointment, Dr. Sherman will take a leave of absence from CRA. He will continue to serve as a faculty member at Northwestern University.
“Joshua Sherman has been a key contributor to Charles River Associates’ Antitrust & Competition Practice, developing thought leadership for key industry trends, consulting with clients on issues relating to collusion, monopolization, among others,” says Antitrust & Competition Practice Leader Margaret Sanderson. “While his presence will be missed during his appointment as Chief Economist of the Israel Competition Authority, we are sincerely proud of his work and this accomplishment.”
