The International Bar Association (IBA) has appointed Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher partner Daniel Swanson to serve a two-year term (2020-2021) as Co-Chair of the IBA’s Antitrust Section. Swanson will serve together with Co-Chair Thomas Janssens of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Swanson co-chairs Gibson Dunn’s Antitrust and Competition Practice Group. His practice focuses on antitrust and competition law, including trial and appellate litigation, class actions, grand jury and civil investigations, merger review, regulatory and competition policy matters, and antitrust counseling.
The IBA’s Antitrust Section provides an international forum for thought leadership with respect to antitrust law developments and the profession through submissions to competition agencies, training programs/missions, developing the law through our conferences, publications, and interaction with antitrust enforcement authorities and the profession.
