The proposal was sent to Ecuador’s Congress’s Technical Committee, who will check that they meet all necessary requirements.
Once the Technical Commission verifies the applicants, it will present its report and recommendations before the Plenary of the CPCCS-T, which will be uploaded to the institution’s website, along with information on proposed candidates.
Danilo Sylva is a Doctor of Jurisprudence, lawyer and legal scholar. He is a specialist in leadership issues, management, and alternative methods of conflict resolution.
Anabel Salazar has a Master’s Degree in Economics, and has held management positions in the Bank of Ecuador, the National Secretariat of Planning and Development, and the Ministry of Finance, as well as working as a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank.
Finally, Attorney Sebastian Espinosa has advanced degrees in Tax Law, Administrative Law and International Economic Law, serving as legal advisor to the Presidency of the Republic after fulfilling similar functions in the National Assembly, National Secretariat of Planning and Development, and several law firms.
This is the third list presented by the president before the Technical Commission, which has already rejected the previous options.
