El Congreso peruano ha confirmado que establecerá una comisión que evalúe regular las fusiones y adquisiciones de empresas, para prevenir distorsiones de mercado que puedan afectar la libre competencia y los derechos de los consumidores y usuarios, a cargo de la Comisión de Economía y la vicepresidenta Mercedes Araoz.
