Kinstellar are confident the addition of renowned competition, litigation and environmental law expert Péter Vörös will strengthen their place in the market.
Péter Vörös has made the move to Kinstellar having previously held the position of co-head of Baker and Mackenzies’ antitrust practice in the Budapest office. He has an impressive CV with expertise in merger control, environmental matters as well as competition and litigation.
Vörös will be joining the Kinstellar team as partner of the competition and litigation practices in the Budapest office and leader of a four-person team. On joining the firm Vörös said “Kinstellar has built up a recognized competition law practice in the region, which I am happy to be a part of and to develop further.”
The move is the latest evidence of Kinstellar’s strategic restructuring which has been in progress over the past 18 months. Anthony O’Connor has also recently joined the Budapest team as partner and head of Hungarian corporate and M&A practice, whilst Mukhit Yeleuov became partner in the Almaty office in February. Several senior lawyers have also been recruited.
Kinstellar are an independent law firm with their head office located in Prague. The firm emerged from the spin-off of four Linklater offices in eastern Europe in 2008. In 2016, it operates with offices in nine jurisdictions with over 130 national and international lawyers.
