The Guernsey Bar has officially banned price-fixing in its entirety concerning fees for conveyancing legal fees. Guernsey, which is part of the Channel Islands, has made the decision that came into effect in the beginning of February. The decision was commended by the Channel Islands competition authority. Precedent suggests the decision will lead to a major cut in legal fees.
