The Office of Fair Trading has announced that it has appointed Sonya Branch as its new Executive Director, a position responsible for much of the OFT’s “front-line” work in antitrust enforcement cases and merger reviews. Branch will also sit on the Board and Executive Committee. She is replacing Clive Maxwell, who was appointed Chief Executive.
