Azerbaijan: AccessBank expects smooth-sailing in antitrust review of share interest restructuring
AccessBank is bracing for review by Azerbaijan’s competition authority over their intended restructuring of the share interest. The bank’s shareholders endorse the plan and AccessBank expects antitrust regulators to approve. The bank’s CEO Michael Hoffman announced that Azerbaijan’s Central Bank has also given its approval of the change. The restructuring would affect the shareholders’ equity stakes and not the composition of the shareholders.
