Russia’s FAS, as well as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will be next to approve or disapprove of an agreed-upon deal for Swedspan to acquire Pfleiderer. The two particleboard companies signed an agreement mid-October and are looking to complete the deal in the coming months. The EBRD holds a 15.81 percent stake in Pfleiderer OOO, Veliky Novgorod. According to the deal, the EBRD would receive its share of the purchase price equivalent to its share in Pfleiderer.
