The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission seeks public comment on Amcor’s proposed acquisition of Aperio. Amcor manufactures and supplies flexible packaging products; Aperio is a privately owned manufacturer of flexible packaging products. In its statement of issues, the ACCC has identified concerns with the supply of flexible packaging in the national market.
Submissions will be acceted by March 8, 2012. The ACCC will reach a final decision on the acquisition by March 29, 2012.
