Charles River Associates has announced the appointment of Dr. Renée Duplantis as Vice President and head of CRA’s Canadian Competition team. Dr. Duplantis brings over 20 years of experience in handling competition issues across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
CRA President and CEO Paul Male welcomed Dr. Duplantis, highlighting her expertise in the field. Dr. Duplantis will be based in CRA’s Toronto office, enhancing the firm’s capabilities in economic analysis and testimony for Canadian clients navigating regulatory challenges.
Margaret Sanderson, CRA’s Global Antitrust & Competition Economics Practice Leader, emphasized Dr. Duplantis’s role in strengthening CRA’s analytical expertise. Dr. Duplantis specializes in empirical analysis, particularly in quantifying the competitive impacts of mergers.
Dr. Duplantis holds a PhD in economics from Northeastern University, an MA in economics from Duke University, and a BBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
