Proskauer Rose has announced the appointment of Mark Rosman as a partner in its Washington, D. C. antitrust practice. With over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer, Mark brings extensive expertise from both the public and private sectors to the firm.
Rosman served for over two decades at the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division, holding various positions including as Assistant Chief of the National Criminal Enforcement Section. His experience encompasses a wide range of antitrust and criminal matters, including cartel defense, criminal enforcement investigations, and merger and civil non-merger cases. Additionally, Rosman has handled complex issues such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations, fraud investigations, bribery, obstruction of justice, and kickbacks. He has also played a lead role in several significant government enforcement actions.
Bart Williams, chair of Proskauer’s Litigation Department, highlighted the firm’s focus on enhancing client service through strategic appointments. “Mark’s extensive experience in antitrust law will be invaluable as we continue to serve our clients in an evolving regulatory landscape,” Williams said.
Christopher Ondeck, co-chair of the Firm’s Antitrust Group and head of the Washington, D.C. office, emphasized Rosman’s deep understanding of legal issues, stating, “Mark’s background in-house and at the Department of Justice brings a unique perspective that will benefit our clients.”
