Enterprise software platform Real Time Technologies (RT²) closed an acquisition deal for payment processing services provider InComm Agent Solutions (IAS), a subsidiary of InComm Payments, in a move to expand the geographic footprint of RT²’s serviceable areas beyond the U.S. into Canada and Puerto Rico.
With IAS, RT² will be in a leading position to deliver a “fully integrated, real-time, software-defined solution” for thousands of wireless retailers and agents, according to a press release on Wednesday (Aug. 3). RT² offers solutions that focus on cutting-edge operational efficiency and customer experience.
An enterprise software platform company, RT² is headquartered in Tampa, Florida and was founded by CEO Ali Koumaiha in 2001. The company provides customizable point-of-sale (POS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence, agent portal systems, enterprise services, and inventory management solutions.

IAS, formerly Qpay, launched in 2002 and focused on customizing payment and technology solutions. The company was purchased by InComm Payments in 2010 and rebranded as IAS in 2015, according to the release.
