Joshua Wright returned to teaching full-time at George Mason University School of Law in August, 2015, after serving three years as a Commissioner for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Prior to joining the Commission, Wright had been a professor at George Mason University School of Law. Besides resuming full-time teaching duties, he will also direct the school’s Global Antitrust Institute, which focuses on research and education efforts in antitrust. Wright is a leading scholar in antitrust law,  economics, and consumer protection and has published more than 60 articles and book chapters, co-authored a leading casebook, and edited several book volumes focusing on these issues. Before his first tenure at George Mason University School of Law, Wright clerked for Judge James V. Selna of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and taught at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Public Policy.
