This month CPI would like to join the Chinese New Year celebrations this year of the monkey, and bring to our readers a special issue on Antitrust Developments in China. Last year, 2015, was a very active year for Chinese antitrust authorities as well as Chinese courts. The experience accumulated by the administrative agencies and the courts since the promulgation in 2007 of the Chinese Anti-Monopoly Law is now bringing remarkable results. Enforcement, merger control, advocacy and even international cooperation have shown improvements over the years, and 2016 seems to be a very promising year for the antitrust community in China.
