Comcast, the American telecom conglomerate has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Blueface, the Ireland-based tech provider and UCaaS specialist. The terms of the deal have not been revealed.
Comcast Business’ portfolio of business-grade solutions can now count Blueface’s proprietary and fully customisable cloud UC platform as part of the offer, further helping to provide organisations with the ability to communicate and collaborate seamlessly around the world.
Going forward, Blueface will continue to operate as it did before the deal, and will now be a business unit within Comcast Business. Expressing a strong commitment to jobs creation in the local area, they are looking to recruit team members within engineering, sales, program management, and software development – providing a welcome boost to the job market in Dublin.
Commenting on the acquisition, Bill Stemper, President, Comcast Business, said, “Whether connecting within a company or directly to customers, Blueface technology, powered by Comcast Business, will provide businesses a seamless communications experience.
“We look forward to delivering innovative solutions that enable businesses to help power employee productivity and extraordinary customer experiences in 2020 and beyond”
