Brazil’s Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) approved, without restrictions, the acquisition by Technicolor of Cisco’s Connected Devices division. It comprises the operations of the former Scientific Atlanta, acquired by Cisco in 2005, with the exception of the manufacturing and marketing of head-end video equipment businesses.
