Bulgaria’s competition regulator announced that it gave the green light to local pharmaceuticals distributor Bulpharma to acquire a 100% stake in automotive dealer N Auto Sofia from Auto Union.
Under the terms of the deal, Bulpharma will also acquire indirectly 51% interest in each Espace Auto and EA Properties, both part of N Auto Sofia, the Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) stated in a decision published on Friday, July 23.
The acquisition will not have an impact on any of the relevant markets in the country, the CPC stated.
Interested parties can challenge the regulator’s decision before Sofia Region Administrative Court until August 6.
Bulpharma’s most recent financial report filed with the commercial register showed that at the end of 2018 the Bulpharma group consisted of 27 companies, including the parent company and companies active in healthcare, transportation, real estate, and hospitality.
