Holland & Knight continues to build its bench strength in the region by poaching lateral partners from native Pennsylvania firms with the addition of the recently departed co-chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s class action litigation practice.
Kenneth Racowski officially joined Holland & Knight’s Philadelphia office on May 10, though the firm announced his arrival this week. He said he moved to the Florida-born firm to provide his clients a broader geographic platform.
Mr. Racowski’s most recent trials have involved antitrust issues, including a three-week trial in federal court of a competitor action alleging group boycott and information exchange claims and an eight-week trial against Federal Trade Commission (FTC) allegations of anti-competitive conduct.
“Ken is a highly regarded litigator known for his success in the defense and trial of commercial disputes throughout the United States,” said John Toriello, leader of Holland & Knight’s New York and Philadelphia Litigation Group. “His significant experience in antitrust matters, as well as in commercial and healthcare litigation, complement our existing strengths in these areas. He is an outstanding addition to our team.”
“We are delighted that Ken has decided to join Holland & Knight,” added David Kully, the head of Holland & Knight’s Antitrust Team. “He is an accomplished antitrust litigator who will provide great value to our clients that are facing competition issues.”
