    Aetna had filed a complaint in federal court in Detroit, alleging that Blue Cross Blue Shield stymied its efforts to expand in Michigan. One of the remedies Aetna seeks is to end most-favored nation clauses in hospital contracts, as they can prevent hospitals from charging other insurers lower rates than Blue Cross Blue Shield.
