Telemedicine App Provider Ranking a Gaggle of Gainers

telehealth

We’re seeing positive activity in PYMNTS’ latest Provider Ranking of Telemedicine Apps, which is a good sign for the consumer-patient experience — though we commiserate with everyone who needs to see a doctor, even if it’s by using convenient telehealth apps.

The Top 5

Doing rounds at No. 1 for another consecutive month is the Teladoc app.

Rising a spot to No. 2 is Doctor On Demand as the “doctor” apps take top positions.

Down one chart position but staying in the Top 5 is the BetterHelp counseling app.

Another gainer, at No. 3, is MDLIVE, further supporting our earlier remark about apps with “doc” or “MD” in the name. It’s a no-brainer (unless and until we have brain surgery apps).

Finishing out the Top 5 this cycle it’s the Vsee Clinic app, rising a spot to enter the Top 5 at No. 5.

The Top 10

Heading down the ranking we find the LiveHealth app up two spots to No. 6.

At No. 7 this month, PlushCare also gained two chart positions.

Also up two spots this cycle we’ve got HealthTap tapping in at No. 8.

Harder to understand is Canada’s Maple — 24/7 Online Doctor tumbling five chart positions since last month to land at No. 9. It can be mysterious.

Closing out the Top 10 at No. 10 is the InTouch app, returning to the rankings after an absence.

Even telemedicine apps need a break now and then.
