Barclays To Get Free In-Branch Wi-Fi With BT

Barclays has picked BT to introduce free Wi-fi to its 1500 branches across the UK. The bank will be the first in the country to offer the service and hopes it will increase the adoption of its online and mobile apps – including Pingit. BT, which is providing and managing the technology as a white label service, has already rolled out Wi-Fi to more than half of Barclay’s UK branches, with the rest slated to be added by the end of March.
