T-Mobile will offer prepaid cards through the Allpoint network, which would offer surcharge-free ATMs at 43,000 locations.
Mobile Money by T-Mobile usually includes a prepaid card. The card will now include the Allpoint network that will feature nationwide surcharge-free ATM network of 43,000 ATMs, according to NASDAQ.
“Easy access to cash, preferably without the surcharge imposed by the ATM owner, is at the heart of the most successful general-purpose prepaid card programs. By having access to Allpoint, America’s largest surcharge-free ATM network, the T-Mobile Visa Prepaid Card is a core component of Mobile Money by T-Mobile,” Bill Knoll, executive vice president, Financial Institutions Products Group at Cardtronics said.
Cardholders can look for the nearest surcharge-free Allpoint ATM by using the Allpoint Network ATM locator, available online and as a free app for smartphones.
