Limonetik, Nuvei Team on EU Vendor Payment Capabilities

Payments technology firm Nuvei Corporation is partnering with payment and marketplace platform Limonetik in a move to boost its services in Europe and drive global expansion, according to a Thursday (Sept. 30) press release.

The collaboration gives Limonetik the ability to capitalize on Nuvei’s European acquiring services and integrate international acquiring as the company grows globally. The move will enable clients using Limonetik’s marketplace platform to accept a wider range of payments, the release stated.

“Limonetik and Nuvei share the same dedication to providing innovative solutions that ensure customer satisfaction,” said Nuvei Chairman and CEO Philip Fayer in the release. “Nuvei is well-positioned to address the complex payment requirements for merchants in the rapidly growing marketplace space. Our goal is to offer the best possible payment solutions for their unique needs.”

Limonetik’s marketplace clients will also benefit from Nuvei’s authorization optimization features, which can boost acceptance rates, as well as from its single integration payment facilitation model, according to the release.

The collaboration will offer marketplace merchants end-to-end payment services in the EU and the U.K. Plans are also in the works to expand the services to the U.S., the release stated.

Nuvei offers businesses a single-platform payments solution for technology and intelligence, according to the release. The company’s proprietary platform connects merchants with their customers in 204 global markets, with local acquiring in 45 markets. The platform supports more than 480 local and alternative payment methods, almost 150 currencies and 40 cryptocurrencies.

Limonetik advances digital payments for sellers and marketplaces. The company’s platform is available in 70 countries and works with more than 285 local and alternative payment methods, including mobile wallets, installments and gift cards.
