The banking giant on Monday (Sept. 28) announced the debut of Payments Insights a new CashPro capability designed to give corporate and commercial customers “actionable intelligence” about payment efficiency, cross-border flows and working capital performance on their U.S. accounts.

“Corporate treasury teams are managing enormous volumes of payments and foreign exchange data, but that data only creates value when it is organized and delivered in a way that supports action,” said Jennifer Sanctis, head of CashPro Personalized Technologies in Global Payments Solutions at Bank of America.

“Payments Insights will help finance teams cut through complexity and focus on the decisions that matter most.”

PYMNTS spoke with Sanctis earlier this year about the tension confronting treasury teams at a time when treasury functions are being recast around immediacy. This is forcing finance teams to reexamine how they manage cash, risk and decision-making.

“They’re under pressure to move faster, but often their internal tools haven’t kept pace,” Sanctis said, pointing to fragmented systems and delayed insight into cash positions. “Speed without visibility creates risk and visibility without speed creates bottlenecks.”

Also Monday, BofA announced the launch of AskGPS Intelligence Hub, a collection of tools designed to help Global Payments Solutions (GPS) employees “bring together and interpret complex treasury information to deliver actionable insights for clients.”

The Intelligence Hub builds on AskGPS, the generative artificial intelligence (AI)-powered solution Bank of America unveiled in 2025. The new capabilities draw on the bank’s global payments franchise and proprietary data to bring together client, account and relationship information to support more informed client discussions, the release said.

“We are continuously enhancing AskGPS to give our teams smarter, more connected tools that help them deliver greater value to clients,” said Jarrett Bruhn, head of data and artificial intelligence for GPS at Bank of America.

“The AskGPS Intelligence Hub builds on our GenAI application with new capabilities that will help employees better understand clients’ evolving needs and support their treasury priorities.”

The new offering’s initial capabilities include Intelligent Treasury Management reviews, a solution designed to merge client information, relationship activity and account structures into a unified review.

There are also Digital Account Schematics, which will “visualize client accounts, liquidity structures, sweeps, multibank relationships and associated services,” with accompanying intelligence to help “employees identify structural changes, understand fund flows and surface topics for client discussions.”
