Tango Card Rolls Out Reward Automation System With Workato

Digital rewards and loyalty provider Tango Card has teamed up with enterprise automation platform Workato to roll out RG Integrate, which lets firms connect digital gift cards with the technologies they currently utilize without the need for programmers or programming resources, according to a Tuesday (Mar. 2) announcement emailed to PYMNTS.

“Many companies in this era of the virtual workplace recognize the importance of using digital rewards to engage employees and customers. We wanted to make it easier for those companies to automate reward delivery in the applications they’re already using,” Elliott White, director of product at Tango Card, said in the announcement.

Clients can make automations on their own inside of Workato or work with Tango Card to provide an offering that connects digital gift cards with the company’s existing software programs. In one case, a pre-built integration with Namely lets clients automate employee anniversary gifts, “saving HR managers time and effort while boosting employee morale,” according to the announcement.

“Workato is excited to partner with Tango Card to improve employee gifting for employers and employees alike,” Jessalyn Klein, PhD, head of people and culture at Workato, said in the announcement. “As an HR professional, I know how valuable employee gifts can be for morale and engagement, especially when your workforce is remote.”

RG Integrate, which was developed on the Workato platform, can currently be accessed through the Workato app directory. In addition, each RG Integrate client gets access to the Rewards Genius® self-serve dashboard from Tango Card.

The news comes as Tango Card named Monica Williams as its new chief financial officer. “As our business continues to scale organically and through acquisition and as it increases in complexity, we see the opportunity to add incredible talent in strategic areas,” Tango Card CEO and Founder David Leeds said in a previous announcement.
