France’s 15-Minute Grocery Delivery Startup Cajoo Raises $40M as eGrocery Space Grows

The ultra-fast grocery delivery space is heating up. In France, startup Cajoo, which delivers grocery orders by bicycle within 15 minutes, is raising funds to build out its presence in the country. The company just raised $40 million in its Series A round, led by top French grocery chain Carrefour.

California Bill Requiring Food Delivery Fee Transparency Awaits Governor Approval

In California, a bill that would require third-party delivery services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats to show consumers an itemized breakdown of costs and fees is heading to the desk of Governor Gavin Newsom for approval. The bill was approved by the California State Assembly on Wednesday (Sept. 1), following approval in the State Senate in August.
