Pottery Barn Kids and Danish toymaker Lego have collaborated to create a collection of bedding, rugs and accessories “rooted in the brands’ shared values of creativity and learning,” the companies said Thursday (Jan. 6).
“The LEGO Group’s brand values are what made them such a natural partner for Pottery Barn Kids,” Allison Spampanato, senior vice president of design for Pottery Barn Kids, said in a news release.
“With this collection, we’ve created high-quality and thoughtful products, designed with care for people and the planet, that inspire creativity and imagination at home.”
The company says the collaboration is designed with “bright and playful prints” featuring classic Lego bricks and icons for children’s bedrooms and play areas.
“The foundation to our brands coming together is our shared belief that only the best is good enough,” said Satwik Saraswati, design director, Lego licensing and extended line.
“We loved seeing the LEGO design principles of playful and iterative storytelling woven into the beautifully crafted Pottery Barn Kids pieces. We look forward to this collection unleashing creativity and fun in children’s rooms, as it did within our teams when they came together to work on it.”

The news comes one month after Lego announced plans to build a $1 billion factory in Vietnam to meet rising demand in Asia for its toy bricks and playsets.
The new facility will make Lego products for customers in India, Indonesia and the Philippines, while the company’s existing factory in China will cater to customers in that country. Construction on the plant, based 30 miles from Ho Chi Minh City, is set to start this year and conclude by 2024.
It will mark Lego’s sixth factory, joining locations in Denmark, Mexico, Hungary, the Czech Republic and China. The company says it is also planning to expand its Mexican and Hungarian factories, while adding new equipment and technology to all of its factories.
