Walmart continues to take steps to boost its home furnishings lines, announcing another high-profile deal in the space only a few weeks after launching the Gap Home Kids line and rolling out collaborations with several other designers earlier this year.
The retail giant has inked an exclusive home collaboration pact with ACM Entertainer of the Year and three-time Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, according to a Tuesday (June 14) press release. Wanda June Home by Miranda Lambert is now available on Walmart.com.
Wanda June Home is “designed to help create a warm, comfortable, casual gathering place where everyone can feel at home,” the release stated.
“Wanda June Home is named after the two most influential women in my life, my mom Beverly June Lambert and my grandma Wanda Louise Coker, aka Nonny,” said Lambert in the release. “They both taught me everything I know about being a woman and how to make a warm home full of laughter, love and memories.”
The Wanda June Home collection includes more than 80 kitchen, bar, tabletop and home décor items, according to the release. It joins Beautiful by Drew Barrymore, Gap Home, The Home Edit, The Pioneer Woman, Queer Eye and My Texas House as some of Walmart’s recent additions. The line will be updated seasonally.
Walmart and Gap launched Gap Home Kids, an online-only line of more than 200 products across bedding, bath, pillows, throws, rugs and window treatments June 1.

Although Walmart’s first-quarter top-line revenue grew 2.4% for the three months ending April 30, the costs involved in making those sales, as well as paying its 2.3 million employees, were unexpectedly high. This combination not only crimped margins, but also reduced its bottom-line profit by 23%.
