Some highlights include our movers and shakers gaining ranking slots from the previous assessment. There is a new name coming in at the bottom of this ranking and even an app with a 35-point difference from its previous score.
Let’s look at the rest of the changes.
The Top 5
Leading with a perfect score of 100 in the ranking is Paychex Flex.
Paycor as before is holding down No. 2 but with two fewer points for a score of 92.

Rippling previously stole the third spot from Alliance MyPay, but this time around, Alliance MyPay has a tied control of No. 3. Alliance MyPay scored 84 points, one less than last time, and Ripple is down four points, scoring 84 as well.
Gaining a new slot at No. 4 is RUN Powered by ADP, which is up five slots from the last ranking. It has a score of 73, which is 35 more points than before, making it a true mover and shaker.
Trading its previous sixth spot with this month’s No. 5 is Zenefits with a score of 57.
The Top 10
TriNet drops to No. 6 after coming in fifth last time. It has a score of 51, which is 21 points less than before.
Square Payroll comes in at No. 7 after having previously been No 8. It gains five points for a score of 46.
Payrollguru has lost a slot since last time, landing at No. 8 with a score of 42. The lower half of the top 10 have varied scored compared to the front-runners of this ranking.
Ten points behind Payrollguru is QuickBooks Payroll at No. 9 with a score of 31. QuickBooks Payroll has taken a hit as it was previously No 6.
Closing out the top 10 is SurePayroll in the 10th spot with a score of 23.
