Online car retailer TrueCar is now working with AutoFi to give customers more advanced ways to explore auto financing.
With the partnership, those who have configured payments with TrueCar will be able to apply for financing through the dealer of their own choice. Then they will be able to see offers from several lenders.
After comparing the offers, customers will be able to pick whichever one they want and complete the transaction.

Users will be able to look through pricing, a value for the trade-ins, accurate monthly payments and more, including features soon to be added such as auto financing offers.
“AutoFi is a FinTech pioneer in the automotive segment and a proven digital retailing solution used by thousands of dealers. We’re excited to partner with them to enable the discovery of auto finance options for our customers. It is yet another way we want to give TrueCar shoppers the best experience possible while making a car purchase,” said Mike Darrow, CEO and president at TrueCar.
“TrueCar is laser focused on using leading technology to enhance the consumer experience,” said CEO and Co-Founder at AutoFi Kevin Singerman. “AutoFi is excited to partner with TrueCar to extend our digital sales and financing solutions, beyond just the dealership’s website, but to TrueCar’s vast audience of millions of car shoppers.”
TrueCar also partnered with Roadster, the automotive digital sales platform, for a way to finalize car purchases via an application programming interface (API) put out by Roadster.
Shoppers who use TrueCar will have the ability to finalize car purchase deals online through a Roadster “Express Store” to finalize the agreement.
Because the deal-building is transferred to a new “Roadster Admin” from TrueCar for the follow-up, the dealer is relieved of having to cross-reference, and friction is cut down as customers don’t have to re-answer questions they already supplied answers for.
