Intelligent document processing technology provider Ephesoft, Inc. rolled out its artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled and cloud-based Semantik Invoice offering on the Microsoft Power Automate infrastructure, according to a Wednesday (Feb. 17) announcement.
Semantik Invoice’s single-click setup lets citizen developers or different kinds of business users simply and quickly bring smart invoice processing into their automation processes without code, according to the announcement.
“By offering the Semantik Invoice connector on the Microsoft Power Automate platform, we are able to offer more customers not only an innovative solution but a competitive advantage through productivity, cost-savings and the ability to capitalize on vendor payment discounts and improve vendor relationships,” Ephesoft Strategy and Evangelism SVP Stephen Boals said in the announcement.
The Semantik Invoice connector functions as a bridge to more than 400 programs that are on part of the Microsoft Power Automate system such as robotic process automation (RPA), enterprise resource planning (ERP), content management and workflow technologies.
Semantik Invoice clients can put the offering into place in under 5 minutes and quickly connect with any Power Automate program without programming.
The setup would previously necessitate tailored code and lengthy project durations. But now, citizen developers and corporate users without technical expertise can bring invoice capture and data extraction to their corporate workflows.
Ephesoft has been a Microsoft Gold Cloud Platform as of 2017 and rolled out the inaugural “Capture-as-a-Service” offering for Microsoft Azure, according to the announcement.
In separate news, intelligent automation software company Kofax recently integrated with Coupa Software.
Firms can upgrade invoice processing and payment processes with automation by linking the Kofax ReadSoft Online™ and the Coupa Business Spend Management (BSM) Platform. For instance, they can utilize Kofax’s document intelligence and machine learning (ML) to collect data from invoices in various formats and languages and then send the data to expense management processes that Coupa handles.
