Payments and financial services company Fiserv has added or promoted three seasoned executives as it targets “strong sustainable growth.”
“These highly experienced leaders will further enhance our talented leadership team,” said Frank Bisignano, Fiserv president and CEO, in a press release. Among other things, the global company provides account and card-issuing processing, network services, eCommerce products and the cloud-based Clover point-of-sale system.
The expanded Fiserv executive team includes Guy Chiarello, currently the chief administrative officer. The industry veteran has been promoted to chief operating officer of Fiserv. The release said that, in his 30-year career, Chiarello “has been at the forefront of banking, technology, and innovation.” The company said that Chiarello will “create a high-performance workplace and support the company’s focus on future growth.”
Suzan Kereere will join Fiserv as chief growth officer, a new position. Kereere, who has expertise in payments and technology platforms, will work on strategy, acquisitions, and business development initiatives.
Most recently, Kereere served as global head of merchant sales and acquiring at Visa. Her background also includes leadership roles at American Express, including head of its U.S. national merchant business and head of its global network business.
In addition, Adam Rosman will rejoin Fiserv as the company’s chief administrative officer and chief legal officer. He will be responsible for Fiserv’s legal and compliance departments, ethics and government relations.
Rosman currently works for OneMain Financial as executive vice president, general counsel. Before joining OneMain, he served as general counsel for First Data and played a key role in its merger with Fiserv. Previously he also was an assistant U.S. attorney and deputy staff secretary to President Clinton.
This week (June 21), Fiserv announced it was working on getting regulatory approval for a joint venture with Deutsche Bank to provide payment acceptance and banking offerings to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in Germany.
Fiserv is a member of the S&P 500 Index and the Fortune 500.
