The Top Five
As digital-first becomes the de-facto standard for living and working, hundreds of millions of smartphone owners are downloading insurance apps by the bucket. That means tied scores.
Still holding at No. 1 are the GEICO Mobile and Progressive apps, showing no intent to move.
At No. 2 again, it’s sturdy State Farm. So neighborly of them to hang around.
Another tie from the last cycle persists at No. 3, as Allstate Mobile and USAA Mobile squeeze in.
Keeping the real-time quotes coming from dozens of insurers, it’s Jerry.ai: Car & Home Insurance, which works with 45 insurancers, holding its hard-fought ground at No. 4 once again.
This next one is thrilling (for us anyway): Liberty Mutual Mobile climbs up one chart position to enter the top five at No. 5. Welcome. We’ll be right back with champagne and sparkling cider.
The Top 10
No more ties below the top five this go-around, though ranks are changing hands.
Now at No. 6 is zesty Lemonade Insurance, down a spot from last month.
At No. 7, it was and still is digital pioneer Esurance Mobile.
Happy news at No. 8 as the Travelers Mobile app treks up one chart position.
Falling one spot to No. 9 from the last cycle but staying in the top 10 is Farmers Insurance Mobile.
Keeping its seat at No. 10 for another cycle is the Cover — Insurance in a Snap app, which entered the top 10 of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Insurance Apps last month, and seems to like it here. Can you blame them? Did we mention the champagne and sparkling cider?
