American Express is offering new recipients of two of the company’s business cards new perks for signing up, CNBC reported.
The Blue Business Plus Credit Card will provide double Membership Rewards points on purchases up to $50,000 per year, according to CNBC.
“This is convenient for many as they do not need to track multiple credit cards and figure out various bonus spending categories,” CNBC reported.
After a 0 percent introductory rate, the annual percentage rate (APR) will fluctuate between 13.24 percent and 19.24 percent, according to CNBC.
Also, new customers can earn up to 15,000 reward points for surpassing spending milestones during their first three months of membership, CNBC reported.
“While 15,000 points may not sound like much, Membership Rewards are valuable as you can transfer them to a variety of airline and hotel loyalty programs,” the report stated. “And if you pair this card with another American Express business credit card like The Business Platinum Card from American Express, it makes for a great combo to earn heaps of Membership Rewards points.”
The Blue Business Cash Card will offer users 2 percent cash back on purchases of up to $50,000 per year, according to CNBC. The interest rate and other terms are similar to those of the Blue Business Plus Credit Card.
The welcome benefit is up to a $250 statement credit after surpassing spending milestones during the first three months of use, CNBC reported.
Neither card came with any sort of sign-up benefit prior to the latest set of offers, according to CNBC.
The report stated that the cards include benefits, such as: for some customers, the ability to spend beyond their stated credit capacities; integration with QuickBooks for accounting; and free rental car insurance when a trip is paid for with one of the cards.
