Ciitizen HealthTech Firm Collabs With Rochester RHIO For Streamlined Data Sharing
Rochester RHIO is the first health information exchange (HIE) to collaborate with the New York-based healthcare technology startup Ciitizen network to facilitate the sharing of clinical data with patients, according to a press release on Monday (Aug. 16).
The goal of the company’s Cures Gateway is to facilitate the delivery of patients’ health records from any personal health app, while staying in compliance with the 21st-Century Cures Act, which includes information blocking provisions.

AI-powered healthcare platform ClosedLoop.ai. announced on Tuesday (Aug. 17) it has raised $34 million in Series B funding. Led by Telstra Ventures, the investment round also included contributions from Breyer Capital, Greycroft Ventures, .406 Ventures, and Healthfirst.
The 4-year-old company said its AI tools will help healthcare providers forecast patient-specific results so they can modify patient care, provide better end results and curtail costs.
