Chase Teams With Gopuff to Offer Delivery Rewards

Chase has launched a partnership with the fast delivery startup Gopuff, giving Gopuff customers a chance to earn credits with each purchase.

According to Chase, the program is open to Gopuff users who use a Chase credit card as their default payment, and lets them receive an automatic $10 statement credit each month they make a purchase with Gopuff, a potential value of $120 a year.

“We’re so happy to bring a vibrant brand like Gopuff to our customers for their on-demand delivery needs,” said Allison Beer, CEO of Chase Card Services. “Gopuff provides our shared customers an easy way to get value on their everyday purchases, simply by using their card.”

“With a shared commitment to the customer experience and benefits, Chase is the ideal partner for Gopuff to bring cardmembers new and innovative offers,” said Dan Folkman, SVP of Business at Gopuff. “We look forward to making instant needs more widely available through this partnership.”

The news comes just one week after GoPuff announced it was expanding to London and nine other U.K. cities, with plans to be in 33 locations by mid-2022.

Founded in 2013 and based in Philadelphia, Gopuff bills itself as the pioneer in the instant-needs space. The company delivers convenience store items, such as alcohol, COVID test kits and other essentials, within 15-40 minutes.

As PYMNTS noted earlier this month, the market for instant needs is expected to hit $10 trillion worldwide, fueled by both category and global growth.

“Over the last eight years, we have continued to define the instant-needs category and shown significant and sustainable growth across the U.S.” said Yakir Gola, Gopuff’s co-founder and co-CEO.

“Our goal was always to be the world’s go-to solution for everyday needs, and making Gopuff available in the U.K. is just the start of our international expansion,” he said.
