Global payment company Payroc World Access will be expanding to Puerto Rico through a partnership with electronic pay processing company Dynamic Solutions, the companies announced Monday (Nov. 29).
The combination will allow Puerto Rico customers more solutions, more sales channels and give integrated partners the ability to scale globally. Frank Lopez, co-founder and chief strategy officer with Dynamics, said the partnership would allow for expansions through Latin America and the Caribbean.
“This combination will also allow us that to leverage Payroc’s financial capacity, and those additional Payroc technologies and products that will enhance our core offering to our merchant clients and partners,” Lopez said in the release. “This is an exciting time for Dynamics Payments.”
Meanwhile, Payroc CEO Jim Oberman said it was a good opportunity to expand across geographies.
“The combination of Payroc’s technology stack, coupled with the Dynamics Payments processing and issuing capabilities offers effective payment solutions into these key markets,” Oberman said. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome them to the Payroc family.”
Payroc has also recently teamed with Zuza, a software platform, in order to put out a new point of sale (POS) software for the salon, spa and gym market. Called BloomPOS, the service will come with online appointment scheduling with text and email appointment reminders.

Zuza CEO Danny Mikhail said merchants in that space have come to realize they need to be able to adapt, and that BloomPOS could also help with managing businesses – the software will let merchants with multiple businesses and stylists in the same location will be able to work more seamlessly.
Payroc has also recently bought Retriever Merchant Solutions, which has expanded the network of sales organizations of financial information systems.
Payroc now serves over 100,000 merchants in about 40 countries and the companies have been working on things like underwriting and risk management, global device connectivity and application programming interfaces (APIs).
