Most of the same contenders are present, but there have been some changes of position in this month’s PYMNTS Provider Rankings of Payroll Apps.
In two notable events, there’s now a tie for the No. 1 ranking and there’s an app that has joined the list this month and is now resting at No. 10.
The Top Five
In the top spot, as mentioned, we have a tie. Paychex Flex continues to hold this position, as it has for some time now, but it now shares it with Paycor, which has long been running right behind in second place.
Alliance MyPay moves up one level to fill the No. 2 spot.
Also gaining a position is Zenefits, which is now ranked third.
Advancing further than the others is QuickBooks Payroll, which gains two places and now sits at No. 4.
Rounding out the top tier this month is Square Payroll, which keeps a firm grip on the fifth ranking as it did last time.
The Top 10
Another contender gaining a level in the rankings this month is TriNet, which has now secured the No. 6 spot.
Gaining ground and running close behind is Payrollguru, which has picked up two spots since last time and is now ranked seventh.
Also advancing quickly is Rippling, which has also advanced two levels and is now sitting in the eighth position.
Edging down one level is RUN Powered By ADP, which is now ranked at No. 9.
Rounding out the top 10 this month is SurePayroll, a new member. SurePayroll is a leading provider of online payroll and related services. Let’s welcome them to this month’s edition of the PYMNTS Provider Rankings of Payroll Apps. Check in with us next time to see what happens. And don’t spend your paycheck all in one place!
